More than fifty years ago, Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki realized the implications of the fact that children the world over learn to speak their native language with ease. He began to apply the basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and called this way of teaching the mother-tongue approach.

Every Child Can
Dr. Suzuki believed that musical capability is developed not an inborn talent. The potential of every child is unlimited.

Parents as Partners
Parents are actively involved in their students musical journey. By participating in their child’s lessons and group classes, parents are are able to be the “home teacher” and guide their students to success.

Excellence with Love
Maintaining a positive environment is vital to student growth. Teachers, parents, and students strive to create an encouraging, cooperative, and respectful atmosphere where all can thrive.
