Haley DeLisle

Haley DeLisle has been studying cello since the age of 10. She continued her studies at Wayne State University under Marcy Chateaux and Judith VanDerWeg, where she graduated with a degree and certification in Instrumental Music Education.

Haley has been teaching private and group cello lessons since 2008, and has conducted and worked with several youth organizations, such as the Detroit Symphony Civic Youth Ensembles, String Project @ Wayne, Wyandotte Summer Music, and the Detroit Children’s Choir, and has also worked with several school in-school orchestras for Grosse Pointe Public Schools, Detroit Public Schools, Wyandotte Public Schools, and Livonia Public Schools. When Haley isn’t teaching, she continues to perform as a freelance musician in the Metro Detroit area.

In addition to her position as the cello instructor at Suzuki Royal Oak, Haley also serves as the Registrar and the Suzuki String Orchestra director.
